Burgundy Rose Motel - Whangarei

The hotel was incredibly friendly and absolutely wonderful. It's conveniently located near shops and the Whangarei waterfalls. Everything was really good, and I had an excellent stay here.

Not very welcoming staff!

Particularly good and absolutely perfect location, Whangarei airport was 0.5 miles away. A drugstore and a supermarket were right next door. The rooms were nicely refurbished and cheap with kitchenette, felt like home.

Loved the nicely refurbished room and being able to receive wifi. the comfortable furniture made me feel at home. - the location by the park seemed favorable. - the staff was outstandingly accommodating and amiable.

The staff is super friendly here. the services are GREAT. the location is favorable with food outlets nearby, a bus stop outside, and being in the center of Whangarei. the restaurant serves excellent Thai food.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The prices were very reasonable and the attention to detail was impressive. The location was perfect, within easy walking distance of the Sports Complex, which was great as I was attending a event there. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the basic amenities in the room were more than sufficient. The rooms were kept very clean, with fresh towels provided daily. I was also able to receive WiFi in my room, which was a big plus. Additionally, the breakfast provided was delicious.

A small table and chairs outside each room would have been a nice addition.

I had a great stay at Burgundy Rose Motel. The room was clean and spacious, and the location was convenient with a supermarket and pharmacy nearby. The kitchenette had essential amenities like a mini-fridge and microwave. The owner was very friendly and accommodating, even staying up late for my late check-in. Despite being fully booked, I didn't experience any noise disturbance. I would highly recommend this motel.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were also able to find plenty of parking space. The location was quite central and easy to reach.

The lack of communication made us feel disheartened about the hotel and lowered our overall experience.
